EPS Wall Panels, also known as polystyrene core wall panels, are produced in a high-pressure composite construction process involving two layers of coloured steel, separated by a high-density polystyrene foam core This construction technique produces a highly durable product that is very strong but lightweight. The benefits thanks to these Sandwich Wall Panels are lightweight, insulating, simple installation, and economic sensibility. These panels will therefore adapt perfectly to the requirements of the industrial and commercial construction applications where a high level of thermal insulation is needed and the installation also costs significantly.

An 80KG/㎡ EPS Sandwich Panel refers to a sandwich panel with a load-bearing capacity of 80 kilograms per square metre.

Load-bearing capacity (kg/㎡) = panel structural strength + foam density × surface steel plate thickness + support spacing coefficient

 

  • Foam Density: The density of standard EPS core material typically ranges from 12 to 20 kg/m³. This product uses high-density EPS foam with a density of 16 to 18 kg/m³, enhancing internal structural support.

 

  • Steel Plate Thickness: Standard configuration includes 0.4 mm + 0.4 mm colour-coated steel plates, ensuring surface rigidity and superior compression and bending resistance.

 

With a reasonable installation structure and support spacing controlled between 1.0–1.2 metres, the product can achieve a load-bearing standard of 80 kg/m².
